The Sydney Opera House is one of the most iconic and recognisable architectural landmarks in the world welcoming over 11 million visitors a year, including 2.9 million international visitors. As a bustling performing arts centre, the Opera House hosts more than 1800 performances and events annually and employees over 600 staff. It’s important that the Opera House has a range of security measures and systems in place to ensure a safe and secure environment.

The Opera House recently completed an upgrade of its operational security systems to replace legacy security systems and create a cohesive security network.

Following an open, public tender process, the Opera House appointed EKA CyberLock to integrate a new security management system with the Opera House’s current security and technology systems. The Opera House decided to implement EKA CyberLock’s Physical Security Integrated System with various integrations, including its new access control system. The two core systems would support the Opera House’s day-to-day security measures.
