An Australian Regional Council

From the vast, forested hinterlands to the sparkling coastline, this Australian Regional Council covers a land area of over 10,000 square kilometres and is home to a population of over 66,000 residents. It governs a diverse area that includes national parks, state forests, pristine coastlines, beaches, islands, and major industries.

In terms of facilities, the Council manage a wide variety of community lead facilities including an Entertainment & Convention Centre, an Art Gallery & Museum, a Communities and Families Precinct, local Botanic Gardens, several libraries and leisure centres and eight waste water treatment plants across the region.
